Finney’s Crafthouse & Kitchen
Located in Westlake Village and coming soon to Santa Barbara, California, Finney’s is a locally owned and operated restaurant and bar that brings upscale cooking to casual dining. Our local, seasonal ingredients are the soul of our culinary inspired American fare. Keeping it fresh, flavorful and at times, unexpected, are the goals we plan on continuing to hit with our first-class friendly service, menu, and bar. We offer 30 craft beers on draft, a full bar featuring hand-crafted cocktails, fine California wines, and seven HDTVs for sports viewing. We are also kid-friendly, family-friendly, and dogs are always welcome on our patio.
The combination of chef-inspired food and our craft bar makes Finney’s Crafthouse & Kitchen a comfortable and inviting gastropub that attracts guests of all types – especially a local crowd who can feel right at home, whether ordering a classic favorite or trying a new culinary delight! A great passion goes into every plate that passes through our kitchen to your table, and each dish is made from scratch and contains the best local ingredients we could find. Finney’s Crafthouse & Kitchen is open for lunch & dinner, with Monday-Friday happy hour specials.
Coined in 1991, when David Eyre and Mike Belben took over The Eagle pub in London.
The term gastropub, a combination of gastronomy and pub, originated in England in the late 20th century. Generally speaking, a gastropub is a public house that specializes in high-quality fresh and seasonal cuisine. Gastropubs combine the atmosphere of a casual pub with the cuisine of a fine restaurant, often with an emphasis on traditional comfort foods and micro brewed beers. Classic pub food is usually found in spirit, even if the chef applies his or her gastronomic training to the dish.
30 Offerings On Tap. We Know, It’s Awesome.
At Finney’s, we take beer very seriously. We built this tap room to store and deliver craft beer under its most ideal conditions. We go to painstaking efforts to ensure that our beers are always served at the proper temperature, with the correct pressure and gas mix, in appropriate glassware, and by people who know what the heck they’re talking about. Our coolers have separate zones for lagers and ales, and individually regulated pressure on each tap for perfect pours. Our tap lines are cleaned every 14 days to ensure our beers are served in the optimal environment. Our draft list changes and is updated daily. Our selection features many different breweries, styles, and vintage offerings, with an emphasis on local breweries from Ventura County and Santa Barbara County. With 30 offerings on tap, there is certainly something for everyone.
The Finney’s Way
The cozy atmosphere incorporates modern yet relaxed touches that come from a mix of vintage accents together with warm and rustic finishes. The vintage brick on our walls dates back to the late 1800’s and is reclaimed from old factories, schools, and mills in New England. Our wood-paneled ceiling is made of reclaimed snow fence from Wyoming. Our antique copper bar, leather barstools & Edison lights invite patrons in and sets the tone for a relaxing & memorable dining experience. We wanted to create an atmosphere that welcomes people to sit and visit. The result is a space that encompasses the warmth of the local pub with the sophistication of the Westlake Village and Santa Barbara dining scene.
We Love Our Clients
Our team had fun and enjoyed everything from the Vietnamese Toast and Lobster Mac & Cheese to the mushroom truffle arugula pizza and Moroccan salad! I chose the hoppy Bliss beer after sampling. Good value, cheerful service, great for lunch!
Food was excellent, beer selection was atypical of a good gastropub. Had a mojito to check the bartenders skills…it was great. A little crowded due to it still being fairly new, but I don’t think that will change.
First time today for lunch with a group of 8. Everything was excellent. Service was great and food came out very fast. Try the Bacon Blue Burger. Will definitely be back.
