Located in Westlake Village, Santa Barbara, and Ventura, California, Finney’s Crafthouse is a family owned and operated American Tavern that brings upscale cooking to casual dining. With a variety of tap handles featuring only the best American craft beers, each Finney’s location offers 30 local craft draft brews and an array of hand-crafted cocktails.
Our globally-inspired menu features more than 50 made-from-scratch favorites, from sharable appetizers, gourmet salads, tacos and flatbread pizzas to signature burgers, sandwiches and steaks. This means that our team builds each item from its raw ingredients and does not use any pre-prepared ingredients, sauces or even garnishes. Our menu ranges from classic favorites with a twist to new, innovative items made approachable by design. We strive to ensure that our ingredients are the freshest available and meet the needs of our guests.
The combination of chef-inspired food and our craft bar makes Finney’s Crafthouse a comfortable and inviting gastropub that attracts guests of all types – especially a local crowd who can feel right at home. Each Finney’s has a distinct vibe with 100-year-old brick walls, reclaimed wood accents, antique copper bar, vintage photographs, TV’s for sports viewing and a Classic Rock soundtrack of 5000 songs.
Founded in Westlake Village, California, in 2016 by Greg Finefrock (pronounced FinneyFrock), Finney’s now has 3 restaurants – Westlake Village, Santa Barbara & Ventura – and is open daily for lunch, dinner, happy hour and late-night dining. We are also kid-friendly, family-friendly, and dogs are always welcome on our patio. For more information visit www.finneyscrafthouse.com or connect with us on Instagram and Facebook.
Coined in 1991, when David Eyre and Mike Belben took over The Eagle pub in London.
The term gastropub, a combination of gastronomy and pub, originated in England in the late 20th century. Generally speaking, a gastropub is a public house that specializes in high-quality fresh and seasonal cuisine. Gastropubs combine the atmosphere of a casual pub with the cuisine of a fine restaurant, often with an emphasis on traditional comfort foods and micro brewed beers. Classic pub food is usually found in spirit, even if the chef applies his or her gastronomic training to the dish.
30 Offerings On Tap. We Know, It’s Awesome.
At Finney’s, we take beer very seriously. We built this tap room to store and deliver craft beer under its most ideal conditions. We go to painstaking efforts to ensure that our beers are always served at the proper temperature, with the correct pressure and gas mix, in appropriate glassware, and by people who know what the heck they’re talking about. Our coolers have separate zones for lagers and ales, and individually regulated pressure on each tap for perfect pours. Our tap lines are cleaned every 14 days to ensure our beers are served in the optimal environment. Our selection features many different breweries, styles, and seasonal offerings, with an emphasis on local breweries from Ventura County and Santa Barbara County. With 30 craft draft offerings on tap, there is certainly something for everyone.
The Finney’s Way
The cozy atmosphere incorporates modern yet relaxed touches that come from a mix of vintage accents together with warm and rustic finishes. The vintage brick on our walls dates back to the late 1800’s and is reclaimed from old factories, schools, and mills in New England. Our wood-paneled ceiling is made of reclaimed snow fence from Wyoming. Our antique copper bar, leather barstools & Edison lights invite patrons in and sets the tone for a relaxing & memorable dining experience. We wanted to create an atmosphere that welcomes people to sit and visit. The result is a space that encompasses the warmth of the local pub with the sophistication of the Westlake Village, Santa Barbara & Ventura dining scene.
We Love Our Clients
Our team had fun and enjoyed everything from the Vietnamese Toast and Lobster Mac & Cheese to the mushroom truffle arugula pizza and Moroccan salad! I chose the hoppy Bliss beer after sampling. Good value, cheerful service, great for lunch!
Food was excellent, beer selection was atypical of a good gastropub. Had a mojito to check the bartenders skills…it was great. A little crowded due to it still being fairly new, but I don’t think that will change.
First time today for lunch with a group of 8. Everything was excellent. Service was great and food came out very fast. Try the Bacon Blue Burger. Will definitely be back.
